I'm refering to veggie (leaf scraps) from the garden beds- as a supplement to there regular diet.  Are there any types of plants that I should stay away from- for one reason or another? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks, GrowzayContinue

I developed my hydroponic system and have been using it since 1992'. I am now fully focused on growing aquaponically for family food production. I have a 3 yr old son-. We love our Fish and Veggie Garden!

I noticed your comment on females turning pink.  I recently raised water temp from 72-74 degrees to 86-88 degrees. And yes almost immediately I saw the females taking on a pinkish look in around the head and gill area.

Thank you for the kind words. Myself I'm by no means a pro, heck I just got into this a few months ago with the idea of theres got to be a better way of gardening besides pulling weeds for hours on end and rototilling.

Then I thought heck, make it portable and solar powered as well, its not exactly what I wanted but I truly enjoy this, unfortunately for me in the midwest there is no-one near me that does this.

1 advantage I do have which I am willing to share with everyone is my HVAC , mechanical and electrical background which I hope will contribute to the overall cause.
