For Alajuela, near San Jose, Costa Rica check out the PVC manufacturer Durman. They have many PVC parts including bulkheads. EPA and other Ferriterias also sell general PVC pipe and fittings.

Hi, I am in Alajuela and going to build an IBC system and am having a hard time finding the plumbing supplies I need for the project thus I am going to order from the States. Does anyone know of an online hardware or other store that has most of the fittings needed and that can't be or are hard to find here in Costa Rica? Thank you.

Sadly, I Need To Sell My Aquaponics System!

I have to sell my aquaponics system. Right now there are no more fish but the system is running with aquatic plants. I still love aquaponics but I need to make a trip in France for a while and I have nobody to take care of it!

Hola, les comparto un video corto de una entrevista con Murray Hallam. Esta fue llevada a cabo en Febrero 2013 en un curso de acuaponia comercial al cual tuve la dicha de asistir. La tesis tiene por titulo "Manual para la instalación y el manejo de un sistema acuaponico a pequeña escala".
La intención es crear un documento para divulgar la acuaponía en Costa Rica.
Mañana desde las 9 voy a estar en la escuela de Ing. Forestal en el Tec de Cartago. Mi teléfono es el 8376-4852.

Gracias por el dato, y eso es algo que he comprobado con la experiencia, no tener mucho de un solo sembrado ayuda a evitar la llegada de plagas. Sin embargo con la espinaca no he tenido ese problema, y es muy resistente a las plagas.
Interesante lo de la malla antiafidos, voy a averiguar donde la consigo en Panamá.
