I'm not sure that this product can be helpful in the successful promotion of aquaponics as a sustainable science. It can be a real challenge to grow anything in such a small system. This has been said by many people. Time will tell. Good luck.
Dell I got an email where you asked about bacteria in a raft. Media beds should always be placed before the raft to filter gunk. Media beds provide constant nitrification and clear water. If you have only rafts, the nitrification will vary when you harvest and remove the roots where the bacteria were living. So you are asking the right question.
