Sloping Settling Filter Bottom

Posted on July 9, 2011 at 4:25am 0 Comments

I want to give the bottom of my settling filter a "V-shaped" bottom, but after trying to find a method of making one, I decided that what I saw was too complicated or too much work. I Thought of a simple solution. "Why don't I just build a wooden base that would support a barrel that was tipped at a 45 degree angle so that thejunction of a side and the bottom were at the lowest point and then install a spigot at that lowest point. So this is my next system tweak.

Hello Conrad. I live in California, and I think stick-fin will ship to anyone, he never asked me about a permit. In California, they are not prohibited, and not otherwise regulated for "hobby" purposes. If you Pam on selling them for human consumption, then you must get a CA aquaculture permit. There is at least one commercial redclaw grower here in Cali

Nice to make your acquaintance.
