Produce Marketing

The truth is you don't make any money growing vegetables.  To make money  you have to sell the vegetables.  At least 80% of a commercial aquaponic farm business has basically nothing to do with aquaponics.  So instead of talking about commercial aquaponics, I want this group to be about selling produce.See More

It's been such a long time since I've logged in, but I do thank-you for taking the time to respond to my post. I got really discouraged after all the bugs showed up on my lettuce and I didn't know what to do. But I do plan to try again this spring :)

I just asked her and she said definitely.  Bought quite a few things and your mom kindly gave her some mint.

TCLynx,

OK, noted on the salt, is that rock salt?

What does PPT translate to. How many pounds per gallon or kgs per liters of salt?

In desperation I put in 500ml of 10 ppm of Colodial silver. The total water in fish tank and resevoir is 660 gallons. I had 100 Tilapia fry in this system and think I have about 70 now. All the veggies appear to be doing well at present especially the tomatoes.

Thanks for the help!

Fred

TCLynx,

You stated, "Most fish diseases that people call fungus are actually bacterial infections"

How do I get rid of this on my Tilapia, its killing them off. My veggies are doing fine so far?

Reards,

Fred
