Please tell us something else about yourself.: I'm obsessed with water.... its form, its function and the role it can play as a productive and living ecosystem.

Aquaponics provides the link to my three main passions, food, fish and pipework... the all three being prevalent themes in my life so far....
Its something i'm dedicating my life to... an all encompassing passion in a "field" in which i hope to truly effect positive change.

whilst a self confessed generalist, (a jack of all trades and a master of none) aquaponics allows me the opportunity to combine my interests and allows me to interact with real people, real issues and real attempts to effect change.

i also like to pick mushrooms in the forest, catch fish from anywhere/everywhere, shoot pigeons for food, smoke fish, grow garlic, compost, play with worms & soldier flies, travel, laugh and the occasional pint ;-)

Your new profile comment about the importance of pipework gave us a nice laugh over breakfast - have you ever seen the movie Brazil? My husband agrees with you. He loves PVC. Totally a set of adult Tinker Toys.
