My brother actually lived In Turks and Caicos a few years back as he was a scuba instructor at club Med... Beautiful place.
As for your fish tank volume... It depends what type of fish, what filtration you use and how dense you want to grow the fish. If using Tilapia and you build a good filtration system, you could get away with a 1000gal fish culture tank for that area (considered semi intensive). If you don't want to raise the tilapia that dense, bump up to a 1300-1500 gal tank.
