I'm new to aquaponics, but I'm excited to get started! I will be setting up an IBC system, and hope there is some help on this site as I'm sure I will need it! Wish me luck!!

Hey Y'all, It is cooling off, should I be concerned about the temps for the plants? I can heat the water.

Randal. that would be great. Thanx

They are really very independent but could use a pair of eyes every now and then.

Hey Austiners, any chance one of you live near Kyle? I have been helping a great blind couple with their AP system and they could sure use a pair of eyes every now and again. They are fun, no hang-ups, and a real pleasure to deal with.

Please let me know and I can give you their address or I can put you in touch with them. They were sold a very basic siphon style system that was never going to work properly. I set them up with one of my siphons but their grow tray has a very convoluted bottom and will need a tweak in order for the gravel guard to ever sit properly. A very simple fix for the sighted.

Let me know. I'll watch for responses. Time to give a little back perhaps. How lucky most of us are.

Sure, I know that area. I have lived in Waco about 35 years. We at opposite ends of Waco, but that isn't too far

Hi Pat,

Neill,

I just noticed that you are in Waco. What part of town are you in? There are several of us aquaponeers (OR whatever we are) here in Waco. I would like to find out who we all are. I am located out North of town between Chalk Bluff and West. I am helping someone build a system today, so there will be another one of us soon.

I am moving to Blue Gill because I want native fish. I bought some from Larry recently. I buy from Overton in Buffalo too. I have seen (and owned) white, red and golden Mozambique Tillapia besides the greyish ones.
