Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. . . Man, have I been busy. Anyway, in answer to your questions: I run my pumps constantly. I save money in the long run because most pumps last a lot longer when run continuously as opposed to lots of hard starts. The worms do really well, actually, incredibly well in the towers. . . Some towers have several hundred worms in them now- I may have to start removing them.
Water is distributed using a simple manifold, and because my system is overpowered I can run pretty constant pressure to both near and far nozzles. I've come to love a large pump.
