Hi Jim, I would like enough gammarus for 2 DWC raft beds. They are both 200 gallons each @ 12 inches deep. I see alot of waste in them even though i also have a grow bed filtering it.

@ Dr. Brooks

I have fry about 1.5"- 2" inches long right now, I can easily supply a hundred without any problem, when would you like to get them?

Thanks Jim. What size are they? I may need 100.

The aquaculture association is our own local effort to move things forward. As with any broad multidisciplinary group it will have interest sections starting likely with aquaponics since it is aquaponics folks reviving the organization. It does not preclude or prevent your membership in any additional organization you wish. In that the organization is not formed yet I would suggest all attend the organizational meeting in June to help define what it can and will be and what benefits can developed.

Randy, Aquaponics Association is another great way to get and share info. Go for it!

@ George, I can get gammarus if you want them, how many?

@ Dr. Brooks:  I have tilapia fry, nile/blues and some pinkish hybrids tilapia fry, not sure what they are at this point.

@ Randy:  what do you want to get out of your membership?

@ Stephanie:  I don't think you can get a "202" level class, that seems to be "top secret" information that you have to pay dearly to receive.  I would be happy to share my learnings/discoveries with you.

Stephanie, Mesa Community College is in the process of approving a full semester class that may meet your criteria. It may be offered in Fall 2014 or Spring 2015.

The aquaponics tour we did last year was a lot of fun. Anyone thinking about signing up for tour de tanks? http://www.aquaponicsassociation.org/2014-tour-de-tanks/

Does anyone know of any Aquaponics 202 classes or gardening 202 classes in the valley? I know there are a lot of 101 classes out there but I feel like I have a really good grasp on all of the basics, and I'd like to sit in on something more advanced.
