Here you can see my Poor mans Power monitor system.
Since I can see the greenhouse from my livingroom windows I have found that it is better to see that the systems are running with power from quick observation. The low wattage CFC bulbs are soft but visible during the day. The total cost for Fixture and bulbs with extra wire and pass through plugs was $12 per Light. Simple and cheap. Possible even Zen.

Cool. Provided you are around to see it. (My problem is I need something I can monitor from the web when I travel.)
I like it though. Could have lights set up such that the web cam can see them.
I am looking at inexpensive weather stations with monitors that post online.
check out discussion I stated here.

Cosmo,
I notice with lots of the weather stations (I've done some searching and actually bought a few that have really weird malfunctions, like deciding to spend the week in pacific time zone and not letting me change it back cause it is stuck looking for the time from the atomic clock) Anyway, they might list the total number of sensors they work with but they don't actually tell how many actual temperature sensors can be used at one time nor if they can work with the under water probes.
If you find a way to sort out the really nitty gritty details on the weather stations, I'm interested.
I think I might go the electronics tinkering way though and see if I can use picaxe chips to make just a temperature sensor board that I can have talk to the internet. This might take a while though.
