My name is David Epstein. Holistic osteopathic physician. Developed a product called the Farm in a Box, which became popularized by the New York Times article that featured Sylvia's aquaponic system. Started another company called Bioponica designing commercial grow systems and providing consulting services, entirely relying on waste to sustainably grow fish food and organic plant nutrients. Bioponics, in this form, utilizes algae, duckweed, zooplanton and worms, recirculating water, nutrients and energy.

Yes, Sure. I love black soldier fly larvae. It makes sense to utilize a diverse population of insects, larvae, worms and aquatic vegetation when cycling nutrients through an aquaponic or bioponic system. If one fails or under performs there is always another. This gives greater stability to a farming ecosystem and a healthier diet to fish and farm animals overall.

Welcome! Have you ever worked with Black Soldier Fly Larvae? it sounds like something you'd be interested in. I would like to grow fish and chicken food etc. with them.
