I have a room that is 14'L x 8'W x 21'H that is an indoor Atrium. It has a series of skylights overhead to provide plenty of sunlight all year long. One wall is going to have a stacked/multiple series of PVC pipes with pots mounted inside. These pipes will store the vegetable plants. The other wall is going to be Grapefruit/lemons/limes and orange trees. I was going to use freshwater shrimp as my fish source, but I have change my mind and will have Red Claw Crayfish. Still trying to figure out if I can have an additional tank with freshwater fish housed in the basement a-long with the crayfish.
What caught my interest in this site is the posting of the PVC tubes as the holders of the bedding material.

I did a little research. I think that they are a great alternative. Plus they are not canabalistic. Now to find a local resource.
