Aquaponics: Vegetables and fish protein – family size

During several months, I researched aquaponics for my daughter and
selected a great deal of information from sometimes contradictory
sources. By comparing and logical selection, I prepared twelve pages
of links to many sources of outstanding information. This free twelve
page document with many, many links (one link provides over 900
YouTube videos) could be very valuable for anyone considering starting
an aquaponics system.

For preppers, survival is important, but having products to barter in a
‘last case’ scenario is also important. The low cost system is fairly easy
to learn and expand in modular form. A grower could consider expanding
to a commercial size, but only after several years of careful study and
practical experience.

There is no cost for this information, so there is no further support by
me. From the links to hundreds of sources, you will find many willing
to take your money for consulting.

This Preliminary research has hundreds of open source links for anyone’s
use, especially for free distribution to beginners. This resource is based on
the experience of dozens around the world. A mistake from ignorance
means dead fish! Using these references could save a beginner a lot of
sweat, tears, and money. Most aquaponics gurus (except commercial firms
selling kits) do not believe anyone should buy a commercial kit but should
DIY with barrels, IBCs, wood and plastic tanks, and use gravity, pool
pumps, and simple filters, worms, and pea gravel for your project.

The spamming is absurd, yet a search for “Aquaponics” produces over
3.5 million hits, an increase of over 500,000 in four months – people are
interested. Many of us believe aquaponics is the agriculture system of the
21st Century. Growth has been slow since 900 A.D., or maybe 500 BC.

I hope you can pass this information to those in need. Please provide an email address to receive the 12 page document as an attachment.

References for Aquaponics Beginners

FYI

For almost two years I have been researching aquaponics for my soon to retire daughter. The first version of References for Aquaponics for Beginners contained nine pages in August 2013. The November 30, 2014 edition contained over 150 pages.

During the two years, I saw many videos and read many blogs, many helpful, many misleading, and many "facts from experts" that were totally false. Also, there were many people selling  "advice" and…

Almost two years ago, my soon-to-retire daughter asked me to research aquaponics.

In August 2013, I delivered "References for Aquaponics for Beginners," a nine page document. I send FREE monthly up-dates to anyone and the September 2014 up-date was over 140 pages.

A couple college professors described "References..." as a "treasure."

For educators, this could be a useful source of a quick find for the latest information.…

During 2013, I researched Aquaponics for my soon-to-retire daughter and delivered a nine page report. I continued to be interested, and the Reference.... exceeds 108 pages.

This free (open source), document and a couple PowerPoint presentations are available for anyone sending an email address that can receive large files.

Beginner Reference Summary

After months of Web research, I have a collection of carefully selected references that could help anyone save lots of time and money. Also, this includes a 10 MB PowerPoint presentation, all free of charge. If enough people have aquaponics, there is a possibility of eliminating or greatly reducing mosquitoes in residential areas by the end of the century as one aquponics commercial grower did on seven acres in Hawaii.
