Hi all, I'm unloading 3, 55 gal HDPE barrels. Figured I'd give you good folks the first crack at them before putting them on Craigslist. Formerly held (and still contain some residue of) glycerine used to make soap & what not. Glycerine is water soluble, non toxic, & rinses away easy without causing complications in AP systems.

$20 each, $50 for all 3.

Here's a new design I'm working on.  Let's see how Toni (my wife) reacts

Justin and I are working on it, I am glad to see some interest as I have heard a loot of groups dissolve from lack of interest. I should have the link up by this weekend.

I went on Jon's 18th tour and would love to see more systems. Looking forward to the meet up details.

Hello Janet, I think it would be wounderful to Meet-up here. Meeting you all at the Sac. Aquaponic tour was and is an inspiration and I am looking forward to more contact.

Pinterest is great I have been using it for a while, I have many pages of favorite things including an Aquaponic page.  Blair, we are going to start a Meet-up group for our gang soon so maybe we can have one at your place.  Something to think about.

It is PINTEREST by the way. Like a board to PIN your pictures. Thanks Bob for the link to Pearl Trees.

@Blair Rice - I discovered the best search word is aquaponic rather than aquaponics.  There are a lot of aquaponic boards

Hey Bob, Thanks for the Printerest link...good job, it even works with dial up.

Soon I will have a day that you all can come up to Stillpoint Aquaponics @ the Grass Valley area and we can talk about the future of our present adventures.

PearlTrees has become an integral part of my knowledge database.  It allows you to link into information others have gathered as well.  This can help you get right to the good stuff you are looking for.

Yesterday I discovered something called Printerest.  It's fun!  Sort of a visual database of things you find on the internet.  Check it out at Printerest.com

So far I'm the only one with an Aquaponics category.  Hope you find it interesting and start your own Aquaponics collection.

I have not figured out how it's done, but it also appears that pictures can link back to a source.  That seems like a really useful feature I will have to learn about.  Who knows, maybe it will be possible to link PearlTree Pearls with Printerest boards!

Here is a link to my boards.  I just threw a few things up real quick to see how it all worked, so it's not that great, but over time I can see how this could be useful for gathering information on various projects.  Some people have used it to collect ideas for wedding, gardens, and home designs.
