You know you're a real Arizonan when you do yard work in the middle of a summer day. LOL!

We finally got the fry tanks set up with the additional trays. And now we don't have to climb over buckets & things to get around. :)  All cleaned & organized, and we cleaned up the garden yard, too!

Whoa Sheri

Bob is my hero! You guys are out there in this record breaking heat?

I thought your setup was pretty nice a week or two ago. But wow, this will be just awesome!

We have just two things left to add:

  • A 1/2 barrel connected to the main system that will be for tomatoes.
  • And, some time in the future, the greenhouse supports will become vertical planters.

On to the chicken pen!

Some photos from our rebuild. The first is Bob, back in his hole expanding for the second tank:And the finished hole...

The 275 gal sump and 330 gal fish tank being put in place...

The system as it looks tonight...

Looking the other direction, with a duckweed tank on the far side of the raft...

Front view...

The fry and fingerling tanks feeding duckweed trays...

And the large duckweed tray that is fed by the main system...

Zach,

I need worms too so why dont I order 1000 for 20 and I will split it?

@Zach - From what I've read; night crawlers live too deep in the ground and will drown.

@ sheri   I didnt think to try the hydroponic shops, seems like all our bait shops here just have nightcrawlers (of every color) and meal worms, so i grabbed some "red nightcrawlers" and ill see how they do

We found ours at a hydroponics store. If you can't find one close by that has them, you can try bait shops, too.
