Thanks Dave for all your help. I tried to replied this morning on my phone but I got a Message saying that the email could not be deliver, wonder why...

I'm debating going with the stock tank or a water tank. My fish tank will only have the mid morning sun then it will be shaded. and if I decide to go with the water tank should I wash it with hydrogene peroxide first?

Welcome Maynhia, it was nice to meet you Saturday and hope that I can help with your system. You are welcome to come visit my home to see my system, I think we live close. I have a few water tote connections too.

If you are getting a 300 gal. have it delivered at an ace near your home or you can go into the store and order it. it is a large tank and bringing it home might be a little problem. the 150 gal fits in the back of my pickup. What size are you ordering?

Hi Dave Story,

It was nice to meet you and Dave Sc. at Stephane's. My kids are so excited to get some black berries this summer, thank you so much. I tried Ace for the water trough and could not find it on their website. can you tell me what category you found it under? I'm in the process of designing my system and hopefully it will be done by next week if I can get a water tote.

they are cheap. I bought new for my greenhouse from Harbor Freight

I had a problem rotating the timer on the old ones .. so I wanted to be safe.

Harbor freight has them more readily than Home Depot or Lowes, and far less expensive. If the store you go to is out of stock, you can call them and ask them to call other stores to see who has them in stock.

Ours, both old and new, have been plugging along "swimmingly" for over a year now in the greenhouse.

THanks for the link, 1730.

I am using a bell siphon that I made and it is working well so far. I can watch it for a long time and not tire of timing the cycles...aqua geek? I know.

I like the mechanical timers too but cant find any that go to 15 min increments.
