Sure. It is an ongoing study, but as I learn more I am glad to tell you. If you would like to include your views, please click on the "what good is aquaponics" link in the discussion forum above.

For about four years now, I have advocated the view that sustainability is a powerful tool to solve contemporary problems. Following that line of thought, the abstract is about alternative ways that aquaponics is being used for the public good beyond food production.

Out of my pocket. But as our firm grows that will change slowly.

not really,, a good indicator is if the screw on cap and valve are green, the tote was originally fda "food grade".. but there's no telling what could have been stored in a used tote....

my totes were used (to carry veg oil) .. had red and black caps, all black valves... no telling what was in them originally.. i just had to scrub a few times (bleach and detergent) but after leaving some water, and having algae start up (as well as some water bugs) i decided to use what i had

Since were are on the subject of totes, is there a number on the totes that indicate food grade or non food grade?

Matt, We're asking $110 for the 275 gal and $150 for the 330 gal.

I appreciate Dr. George's posts because it keeps me up on what's going on where. I can't attend the conferences at this point, but I like to know what's out there. :)

This hot and humid weather is just fantastic for the seedlings in the AP.

All the new shoots are racing to see who can grow the fastest.   The squash have a head start, but the beans are catching up quickly.   The lettuce is doing well too, but nothing beats a bean on the run...

Get out there and plant something!

Hey Sheri, just out of curiosity, what price range are you thinking?
