How old is your system?: 6 mos - 1 yr

What type of fish do you grow with? (select all that apply): Tilapia

How big is your fish tank?: 330 gal & 100 gal + 40 gal aquarium & 20 gal aquarium. Late Nov. 2011 I discontinued the use of aquariums. I purchased 3 metal fram used food flavor 250 gal. polly tanks. I am installing 4 more grow troughts. For a total of 8.

Please tell us something else about yourself.: Retired military, retired Exxon Bayway, NJ refinery 1993, 39 year active real estate investor, owner operator gun shop 1974 to 1996. National competitor rifle & pistol shooter, former small arms & marksmanship instructor U.S. Naval Academy. Active in Constitutional politics.
Looking to inject value in existing real estate owned properties. Objective is to create self substaining real estate for a family of 4 or 5.

2 year start up and expandtion

My start up consisted of a portable 10ft x 20ft car port, with 4 - 4 x 8 grow troths, a self constructed 4ft x 4 ft x 3ft high self constructed 330 gallon tank and a 100 gallon stock watering tank and 220 fingerling tilapia. That was in July 2011. A major learning experience!

Been Busy

The month of May 2012, has been consumed with a major expansion. I was able to make contact via a friend with a woman that had the metal frame and parts form a "hoop house" greenhouse destroyed in a hurricane sever years back. As she was still being taxed for the structure, she was most happy to have me remove it. We did have to disassemble and take down one section still standing. It took us two days and I gave her a $50 gratuity, for which she was most grateful. Problem was each…
