Brine Shrimp, Fairy Shrip

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to raise brine shrimp for fish food. 

I found  this paper   which seems to have a lot of good information.

Brine shrimp are easy to grow and nutritious (they support a entire ecosystem at Mono Lake). I would give it a go! They only require algae as their food source.

Just had a discussion yesterday with a fellow aquapon and they were talking about brine shrimp. I'm excited about the possibility of breeding them. Thanks for the link, I've already shared it!

Bob, brine shrimp are really easy to maintain in a greenwater tank, and do not need to be rehatched from cysts (despite what others say). Just keep it oxygenated and add some compost now and then, and scoop the big ones out with a dip net. Robert, honestly for tilapia, just feed them. They don't need live food, so IMO brine shrimp are better fed to more finicky fish.

I assumed he meant the brine shrimp are good food for tilapia fry. Or maybe he meant human babies actually like to eat tilapia fry...? :)
