I planted 100 of 200 bare root strawberries today. I planted 100 of them in the stacks in the greenhouse and tomorrow I will plant 100 in one of the rows of stacks outside. I bought 500 of them from a grower and split 200 with Gina and 100 with Ron. Vertigro stacks are used a lot for growing Strawberries.  I will be keeping you posted on how they are doing. They look a little droopy right now but I expect they will perk up shortly.
I will add pics of the ones I plant outside soon.

I put my 100 in as well - 56 in three stacks and the rest in the gravel bed - though I hope to get another 14 pots soon and transplant those into stacks. Also put in six broccoli and have six cabbage waiting for space in the bed.

Mine look like Cosmos, so no need for a pic
good luck, guys. I planted a bunch of strawberries last spring, and I'm now getting my second flush. Great tasting reward for working in the greenhouse ;-)
We planted some of ours Friday and the rest Saturday, all into the microsytem. I had put them into a small refrigerator and I'm afaid they may have gotten too cold. Actually had frost on them! However yours look as sadly droopy as ours, so we are hoping they will perk up soon.
Well I learned something about root stock strawberries. The leaves on the plants have of course dried up. Now just a few days later I already see some new leaves. Since I plant in Coco Coir chips the depth is not as important. I hope that they do well as I have them outside and inside. Strawberries are the main corp grown commercially in Vertigro stacks. I will take some pics when I come back from a short trip to NYC this weekend.
