Thomas Edison Visionary: considering the fact he pushed DC instead of AC, I think he really didn't understand electricity that well. Tesla Now he was truly a visionary. Solar energy is OK if you can get 300 + days of sunshine, but I would also supplement that with wind-power to increase the wattage collected.

I can imagine that most individuals are becoming Aquaponic specialists so as to increase food production with little or no fertilizers.  And also to provide a secondary food source for the future. In today’s economic environment with the uncertainty that is looming in our future it is only natural that intelligent individuals would seek out ways to increase their food reserves.

Funny, that he was talking to two people that advocated the use of petroleum products.  Funnier, is that if they could tax sunshine, it wouldn't still be taking a backseat to oil, coal, and nuclear energy.  Funniest, without it we wouldn't exist.  It's free, abundant, and clean.  OF COURSE big business isn't pushing harder for it.
