I am a, "retired," part time missionary to Haiti and became interested in aquaponics as a means of food production there.
I currently operate, what I call, a modified aquaponic, grow box, wicking bed system.
I use Gold fish because they are very forgiving and cold/very warm hardy. My family does not like to eat fresh fish, and I am too old to begin behavior modification.
