Not sure of the annual rainfall. But rainy season is just ending, starts in April/May. Come mid-October it won't rain again until next year. But we can grow most anything in Plateau, with proper methodologies it can be quite productive. As for funding, we are a small NGO with individuals and a few churches as our primary funding. We are working on the development of various enterprises to develop an income stream to further support projects. The AP project was mostly funded by one individual from the US. We are submitting grant proposals that will help increase funding for AP and traditional farming as well (both dry and wet season).
I have started a group for South African AP members to share concepts, sources of materials etc. Ploease have a look and join if you think it will help.
