Dead crappie and blue gills from riding in bag w/25
ccatfish in same bag for 50 minutes after I bought them from the fish man. I am going to get him to replace them because I asked him not to put them together even in a cooler I put them in.

George: I agree completely. However the ones that I put in the tank are still there. That's after the circulating pump stop circulating because the intake in the bottom of the tub plugged up and I didn't realize that had happened for that reason so I put the pipe on the out side of the tub. When I removed the pump on the GB'S for cleaning the filter I somehow partially moved some of the plugged material and caused for me not to noticed that the tub was being drained before I left it. I came back and my Grand Daughter saw it and told me right away. There was less than six inches of water when I saw it. All the fish were still alive and fortunately it had rained the night before and completely filled the rain water catch tank that was hooked up. We quickly filled the tub up with that water and later for a couple three days I lost 3-4 catfish. I have since put 22 tilapia in the system and they are the ones thriving. It has been a little over two weeks and they are getting broad as well as longer. They were 1" to 1 1/2" when I got them. I am going to try some worms on the crappie and bull gills.
Crappie have a very low AP success ratio anyway, so be forewarned. They are hard to train on feed. This many fish should have been cooled and bagged with a couple of cubic feet of pure O2 for a 1 hour ride.
