Please send me a copy too.
Hi Chris, would it be possible to get a copy of your plan. I know my situation would be very different from yours but I am sure it will also help me out tremendously.
Thanks in advance. My e-mail is: pepsi1628@yahoo.com

Coastview Aquaponics has posted our business plan for a small commercial farm in our group. We hope that it helps others in the process, and we ask to see yours when you get it done. We spent MANY hour researching and writing this plan to customize it for our farm. We are in he process of updating the plan as it has been nearly a year since writing it. Our current focus has changed a little and needs to be reflected in the plan.

there are also several funding options that might apply to some of you , but you will still need a good biz plan. the USDA has a program called enterprise zone , basically its to revitalize former farming areas but has to be in their defined area and only yourself can check your area for participation. there is also the huge set aside funds from the fed for minority (african american) and indian farmers becuase for many years they were denied funds thru USDA. not any more. i see it at work here
as my neighbor suddenly has a large herd of the finest angus cows you have ever seen and all of the powered equipment to care for , handle and even transport them. we like each other and i asked if he invested his lotto win and he told me about this
USDA offering. still have to have the biz plan submitted for consideration in this but they (USDA) gave Mr. Luck a template and even helped him enter it because he overlapped in both programs (displaced minority farmer and the boundried enterprise zone)
you also have to have your own land area that meets their criteria (size, location and previous use) its pretty complicated without someone or entity aiding the applicant (as is most everything nowadays) i just wanted to share this with you all that there is funding in unlikely sources. woman owned , veteran owned especially with either being documented handicapped/diabled might apply for some of you also? but it must be ferreted out and properly applied for and thats a maze without end but still possible to make it happen. good luck to all that strive to better themselves , especially those driven to grow safe food. john
