I am interested in the pump. Is it made to run continuously? Does it have a float switch? Does it have any kind of debris filter? I am in Arkansas. What would you charge for shipping?
You have several people close by in the Earthship community that would be able to help you out with the aquaponics and off grid. Just stop over at the community center and ask. I live just across the border in Az. at Concho Valley and have been in aquaponics for a few years and now building an earthship of my own. You can reach me at wildnickels@yahoo.com. Good luck to you.
I haven't been back to NM for a while... Grew up there years ago (Santa Fe). I don't know if I would be willing to move there as a permanent thing, but if you are still needing some help around the holiday season or next summer -- let me know. I think the wife and I could find some time for a great vacation to the high country....
Best of luck to you - and keep in touch if your would like!
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.
Please add a profile image, participate and check in with us every day! We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
