Hey Scott good to see someone else in the area doing aquaponics. You look like you are off to a great start. I'm just getting ready to construct my first green house section and targeting have things up and operational by Dec. of this year. It would be great to get together and exchange idea's and solutions we have found.
Hi, Scott, I just replied to you on the post about temperatures. How are you keeping your barley cool - does it have it's own little shed or something?
Hey Scott, thanks for the comment! We are actually planning to build just outside of Seattle. I'm only in Clovis with the military for a couple years more (wife is in Texas). I appreciate the hospitality - I'm very excited to learn about this new method of growing food.
I'm glad to see someone in New Mexico! I would like to exchange local experience and problems if you are interested. I don't see many people in the forum that have the water problems we have (or I have) here. You may not have the same issues in Corrales.
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of
experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get
in there and start asking questions. Everyone
is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Main page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening
Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.

Scott,
Wondering what fish you have in your system. I'm looking for a source for tilapia in New Mexico wondering if you can help?
Thanks,
