Good morning!

I just got home from a week long vacation and it looks like my pump is broken.  My growbed is very dry and looks like it's been days since it's received any water.  I checked all my power connections and everything seems to be working, there aren't any holes anywhere, etc.

Does anyone have any advice on what to check before I go out and buy a new pump?  I want to be sure I don't miss anything!

Also, anything I should/could do for my plants until this is fixed - they are looking a little dry!

Thanks in advance!

You could periodically take some buckets of you fish tank water and dump them around you grow bed. I'm sure your plants would like it.  What kind of pump do you have can you post a picture.  I have operated on some of mine and brought them back.  They aren't that hard to get into and fix.  Well, the pumps I have had anyway.

Yea, depends on the type of pump.

Bucket some water to revive the plants and hopefully revive the bacteria and tell us more about the particular pump.

Paige pull the pump and take off the screen. Check for fouling and turn the pump fan by hand. Then replug and if it doesnt start you are out of luck.
