I don't mean to be critical, but this looks like a spreadsheet written by someone who has little or no commercial aquaponics or aquaculture experience, and who doesn't know the fish are usually a loss item.

I've attached the standard "Aquaponic Tools Projection Spreadsheet" we give our students at our Commercial Aquaponic Solar Greenhouse trainings that we hold from 5 to 10 times a year. I hope it is useful to you.

Carlos, im not sure I could make heads or tails out of the spreadsheet. ..of course I don't know meters from skeeters, sooo it could be me %-(

Check out the spreadsheet I sent. It's "For Dummies"; it's color-coded, and explained, and all you have to do to get a bottom-line number of whether or not you're gonna make money is to fill it in with your local numbers: fish sale price, veggie sale price by the head or by the pound, fish food cost per pound, electricity cost per kwhr, labor cost per hour, how many square feet of raft area you have, what tax bracket you're in, etc. Then you get a bottom line number that shows you a win or a lose.

Thank you very much for your input.

Indeed I am just getting my feet wet (literally) with a home system. Long term objective is to have a commercial setup. I am absorbing every little detail of your spreadsheet.

Actually, you mention in another post that you are working on a larger scale spreadsheet with more detail and cost tracking capabilities. One of my strengths is financial and operacional modelling using spreadsheets, expanded with macros and scripts, in various platforms. Please do let me know if I can be of assistance in the production of this more deatiled spreadsheet.
