Anyone know why the red wigglers in my grow bed are dying off? Is this a natural process as they age being replaced by new red wigglers?
Any info would be appreciated ... Thanks

Well, under perfect conditions, I recall that a worm can live up to several years. Their bodies decompose really fast, so you rarely see dead worms unless you have a problem.
One or two dead worms is okay, but are you seeing a bunch of them? (Personally, I don't think I have ever seen a dead worm, and I've been composting with them for a couple years. And I've got them in my growbeds)
are you sure they are dead? my worms have gotten all over my system and some are in my fish tank they look like pink shoelaces in the bottom of my tank and they don't appear to move but i find them in different locations from day to day.
Fish don't eat them? Weird.
