I have had problems with my cherry tomatos and celery plants with the leaves getting like burnt spots on them. On the tomato plants some of the stems look wilted, also leaves turnning yellow. The tomatos are producing pretty good just the plant looks bad. I think I have narrowed it down to Verticillium a type of fungus. Does anyone know how to treat somthing like this. And even if I have the right cause. Thanks Mark

Ok it looks like I will have to answer my own question. From what I have found out you can still eat the fruit from these plants with no ill effect. As far as a cure there is not one at this time. I have to try and plant resistant plants. It also seems that once its in the system it is going to remain unless you do a drastic cleaning and re stocking. So I have noticed certain plants are not affected by this disease so thats what I am going to plant until I can find the resistant seeds for celery and tomatos which seem to be the only plants I am having this problem with.
Hey Mark, have you tried making and using compost teas? I've had great results.
Do you add the compost tea to the fish tank or the grow beds and how much do you add at a time?
