Hi just went to bunning to get river rock. Already washed it but not enough as I discovered when I poured it into my grow bed. It's all muddy but not too much. The water now looks brown.

The water will slowly clear and settle all on it's own. As the bio-filter cycles up bio-slime forms and the bio-slime is really good at collecting particles from the water and it will help the water clear much quicker. However, a brand new system cycling up can take from 4-8 weeks depending on conditions but bio slime starts forming before you are done cycling up.
Sorry I can't tell you exactly what day and time you water will be clear though. Probably a couple weeks. but you might put a sock on the water pipe feeding the grow bed and collect more of the particles out of the water faster and get the water to clear up a bit quicker.
That would depend on the type of plants and the season, climate, sun, nutrients, and if the plants are happy.
Lettuce might go from seedling to harvest (for baby heads) in three weeks under supreme perfect conditions.
What do the seed packs say? Most types of seed packets will give a days to maturity or bloom or fruit sort of indication.
Keep in mind many transplanted seedlings will be shocked for a while after transplant and might not seem to do much for a few weeks (they are probably busy growing the roots that you can't see) but once they get past the shock and establish their new root system they usually take off pretty nicely.
