This tank is about 700 gallons with a variety of sizes of channel catfish. How does one catch the bigger catfish instead of random sizes? Watch and see. I'm using my arms to still the water I'm looking through while holding the net. I watch and wait till a large fish swims near the net allowing me to scoop it out. Some days this is far easier than others. For this video I was lucky and got a big one quickly.

once I make my fish fence this should all get much easier but that would be more like a PVC poll or lots of them actually strung together more than hand woven. :P

Why do I keep coming back and watching this video? It is addicting and I even know the climax. You have got to admit you just want to watch it again. TC please send us more of these Zen master videos. We are but you humble apprentices - Grasshopper or should I say Lynx. Oh yeah that needs to be a bamboo pole with a hand woven net. And the Hat please.

Oh, that would be cool ! I'll have to save up some $.....I've been spending it on trying to expand the system :-(

Jim Tinker could do you up some bumper stickers if you want.

Gee TC....you really did make it look easy !!! I had to give it a try too. I was trying to get the biggest two, but my 'zen' was getting tired :-) I did get 2 of the bigger ones.
Tilapia, it's what's for dinner...wish I had a bumper sticker that said that....it would annoy the beef farmers around here....lol

It normally isn't that easy though I've done it a couple times where it was about that quick. Usually it is far more frustrating.

I will probably make a pvc fence spaced such that the small fish can swim through but the bigger ones will be corraled into a smaller area and hopefully make it easier to harvest big ones and let the small ones grow.
