Please tell us something else about yourself.: I started with gold fish in a 10 gallon. Then to tropical and also on to planted tanks. The gold fish needed a pond which led me into making my own bio-filter and describing I wanted aquaponics before I knew what it was. I have also began to write articles for the New Hampshire Aquarium Society relating to aquaculture. All that was old info so much has changed since then. 2/5/13

Last year, I was doing research on chloramines and looking for a solution for volumes of water for a commercial raft system. Being familiar with aquarium keeping, I'd figured on using a water conditioner if I had to for the problem. I'd never read the label on the bottle, but, sure enough, the warning was there. I happened to have 3 different products right then! I wrote to a company that didn't have the warning; their response was their product was safe if used for ornamental fish in the manner intended.
