I'm a fisheries biologist and aquaculture engineer. I've been practicing and consulting in aquaculture for the past 25 years. Practice both salt and fresh water systems. Relatively new at gardening.
Cool. And feel free to correct me where I might mess up as I'm good in layman's terms but when it comes to some of the more technical chemistry and other things I get a big vague.

Aquaponics started as a hobby but it is addictive as you may already know I've been trying to make a business out of it but I still support myself with "other" work while I try to get the new business more self sufficient. I'm actually an audio engineer/stage hand/AV tech by trade and training but I figure it isn't that hard to make the jump from plumbing electrons to plumbing water flows.
