Hi Jim. I am interested in purchasing some of what your offering based on your posts. I think my AP system is cycled with the 15 goldfish i have and I am ready for tilapia. I would also be interested in buying fish food, scuds and worms. Thanks!
Hi Jim. this is what I thought the system might look like, but after reading what you had wrote earlier, I might even use bamboo as the top water feeder pipe to the towers its a lot stronger than poly-pipe and cheaper, I just cut it down out of the garden.
I am just learing about aquaponics and don't have a system yet. I am also working on the 4th but would love to hear about the tour and perhaps join in when I can.
I apologize for not responding sooner, but I have moved to a new area where there is no space for my unit, thus it has been mothballed. The towers did not run long enough to test many different crops, but my gut feel was that with the dense media I had, the spacing was too close for long-growing crops.
Hi Jim, thank you for adding me. I too am very very new to this. In my message I discussed another type of fish other than tilapia. Fish and Game are particular where the tilapia are and I am just too close to Lake Roosevelt. Mr. Fitz at the college suggested catfish, but not channel. He felt Asian or African would be better. He is very active in the aquaponics gardening. So I will search for these guys. Have any ideas?
Thanks for the add. We're just getting started in this adventure. While very excited and a little overwhelmed by the AP process, we're ready to grow some great food for our family.
As much as we'd love to come to the "Grand Tour', I work a two week schedule and I'm working that weekend. Maybe another day.
@Jim My latest experiment is with my FT2 future Tilapia home. Unfortunately I didn't try it during the cold snap. The frost cloth is magic it lets the sun in but doesn't let the chilled wind draw the heat out. Follow my posts, I am active on the forum. If I have to use a active heater (Non solar) it may never (or rarely) get used.

Thank you Jim, it's a very good idea than using a coliander lined up with a cloth material.

HI Jim. Thanks. It is actually an Ariel Atom. The pic is from when my wife and I flew to Oregon and drove it back home. My brother has an elise.
