I've been out of town for the past week but I'm home now and can share some updates about my trip, I'll need to write up some stories to post in My site blog here over the next few days but just to wet your appetites...

 

I visited with Philip Wolf up near Chicago and his home system as well as the new System he has running at We Grow Dreams in West Chicago.

 

Then we went up to Milwaukee where we attended the tour at Growing Power and later that evening we went down to Sweetwater Organics and met James Godsil.

 

I met a couple people in the greater Chicago area who are interested in learning more about aquaponics.  One has already been growing lettuce for a living through the warmer two thirds of the year and perhaps a little longer with season extenders and is interested in adding aquaponics as a nutrient source.  I expect he may head to HI for a workshop/vacation seeing as his current soil methods are organic and I'm sure he wants to follow with more organics.  Another person I met had only just learned of Aquaponics and was at the growing power tour and when I mentioned the Sweetwater tour to him, he showed up there too.

 

Anyway, watch for my upcoming details of what I through of the tours.
