As of last Saturday, June 2nd, we have 20 tilapia fingerlings of various sizes in our tank.
They range in size from 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" in length.
At first they were pretty stressed out and would not eat for a few days. However, Tuesday they decided I was not a threat to them and they came out to see me.
As I dropped pellets into the tank they attacked it ... as if they were hungry or something.
They seem to be settling in just fine and hopefully they will grow big and strong so they can reproduce to give us fry and fingerlings to share as well as tilapia to eat.
I am expecting a shipment of duck weed today to help suppliment their diet.
Regards,
Bob
