Ducks on a roof top, bloop bloop bloop, what shale I do with all this poop.

So, the young muscovy ducklings have learned to fly, well at least the females have.

I came out of the house last night and found the three females of the latest clutch up on the roof snacking on the banana leaves.

They are not nearly so cute now as they were two months ago.

As you can see, female muscovy ducks are very able to fly. The chickens were a little confused though. The Ducks have normally been sleeping on the ground.

Well all the young ducks have been coraled for the night and processing will happen tomorrow.

Yea, they will be moving into their new Residence in the freezer probably on Tuesday. I hadn't realized they were so far along but things have been busy this fall and we got home to notice that the boys are as big as the big drake now.

They also make great soup the next time I get the caner out.

You can stop them from flying and poohing on the roof, by applying some 'orange sauce' to them.... :-)
Sorry TC...Ron started it !
