A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

hi again folks, first of all let me explain my crazy title  haha.DOGS R US is the name of one of our businesses,we are located in beautiful EASTERN TENNESSEE good old USA.feel free to follow us on facebook and leave comments.several years ago i was told i was crazy to spend an amount exceeding 100,000.00 to build a boarding, breeding, grooming facility in a rural community such as ours.to make a long story short i did not listen to all the naysayers and short sighted people and forged ahead in entrepreneurial fervor and built our business into what continues to thrive and employ several people to this day.i feel a touch of empathy for short sighted folks, what could they only achieve if only they put their minds and backs to work.i am a 53 year old combat wounded veteran in a wheelchair with a danged if i cant attitude and people tell me i am an inspiration to them and to that i reply why cant you follow my example?this country was built by great doers and thinkers that forged ahead without avail.boy, talk about getting on a soapbox lol.i'm going into this young world known as AP full bore to try to help feed my family nutritious veggies.i was at wal-mart the other week ,which is my version of retail hell, and the prices on all the waxed gmo produced veggies was just ridiculous.i left there determined to find a source of self reliance.have i found it?? time will tell.we are on a quest towards self sustainable agriculture here on our farm, raising our own beef, veggies, and grandchildren LOL.oh and by the way the waste products from our boarders at dogs r us continues to fertilize our exercise yards and we cant mow them fast enough they grow so fast. 2-3 times faster than normal compared to our yard.entrepreneures rise up and realize your potential.   alan
