A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

Hello everyone!  Been a while since my last update.

1. Aquaponics system 1 - Bitter mellon is growing fast and seem to be happy in AP.  Tomatoes stopped growing from 1" because of the heat (we are having mid 40's here in Saudi Arabia), Okra grew a new stem but no flowers or fruits, Basils are growing new stems after i cut a few to clone, fish tank have 6 goldfish and pleco

2. Aquaponics system 2 - Bell pepper is lush and healthy although no signs of flowers yet, cloned basil is doing fine, some celery seedlings have just been planted, new Bitter melon seedling, fish tank have 5 pangasius and pleco, also sharing in this system is a small tub with few ornamental plants in continous flow

3. Aquaponics system 3 - 2 Bitter melon, 2 bush beans, 1 cucumber, 3 parsley and plenty of spinach, the bitter melons and the bush beans are growing well also the cucumber, but the parsley and spinach seedlings are slow, fish tank has 3 koi and 3 small goldfish

That's it, living in very hot temp didn't stop me, at all... I am imagining how well my systems would be if I am doing it at home in the Philippines...

I added plenty of ornamental plants in self watering pots made out of used 6L water bottles... all of them are doing well and fine... honestly, these pots made my dirt gardening a looooot easier.. i am using combination of potting soil and hydroton as growing media
