- I am a stay at home mom. I hope I can plant more organic food for the family without too much work, and environmental friendly. I bought the book "Aquaponic Gardening" by Bernstein and read it, but still not very clear about how to set the system up and do not know where to purchase the associated equipment. I live in Fremont, CA.

Hi, I am a completely new to this site. I almost finished reading the book by Sylvia and can not wait to start to build up and start my own system. I really hope that I can get a chance to see the "real" system. I live in Fremont in Bay Area, hope that I can find another member nearby so that we can share the experience.

Hi Yihong, welcome. I know it can be confusing at the beginning, but hang in there. You'll learn more and more as time goes on.
If there's any chance you'll be visiting the State Fair this month, please let me know--we could talk there and you could see some systems in action.

There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions.
