How's everyone doing today? I hope well. I have been planning to build my aquaponic set up for sometime now ( 5 months ) but there always seems to be this little thing that keeps becoming an issue... money lol. In the mean time, while I save up money and collect recycled supplies for my set up, I wanted to create a way for people to stay up to date with fellow growers. Hi Tony, there was no previous design that I went off of, just looked at a lot of pictures of commercial greenhouses, got some ideas from mhpgardener on youtube and a lot of brainstorming....keep in mind I had never built anything before and also have never grown anything either....since I did not know how much I would like it or if it was going to work, I wanted to spend as little as possible...this GH is 32 x 80...if I were going to build another one or bigger, I would probably go with a commercial designed kit from someone like Atlas...this GH I built in my spare time after work and on the weekends with little help from anyone, and as I could afford to put some money into it...will it survive a hurricane?? probably not...but if it gets blown down, I just put it back up...for me, this all started when a friend gave me a aquarium about a year ago and I started breeding African Cichlids...good luck with whatever you try...
