Hi Matthew - a delight to hear from you! I was going gangbusters toward building a system -- and then....well....life shifted. I am still envisioning and researching - designing in my head and on paper - but haven't begun construction. Also gathering materials - so when the timing is right, I'll be set to go!
I did see a FANTASTIC set-up this summer - if you ever get out this way (Clarkesville/Helen GA area), it would be well worth a stop and the owner LOVES to talk about his system. It's really quite wonderful. You can check it out at: 2501 Burton Dam Road Clarkesville, GA 30523 Mon - Fri: 9AM - 5PM Sat: 10AM - 5PM Sun: Closed
Their website doesn't really show anything - but that's probably because they've focused all their time and energy on the aquaponics setup itself - two sets of three tiers in a large greenhouse - with LOTS of innovation and use of recycled and "at hand" materials. Definitely worth the trip! I look forward to going again! Good luck with your system!!
Hello Matthew, I am in Cleveland GA and just readying to start an aqua phonics system. I am wondering if you might be open to a visit for me to see how you have set yours up. I understand it's new, but I'm sure I could learn helpful info for starting my own, which I will be doing very soon. Would be delighted to offer some fresh eggs from my chickens in thanks for your time. You can reach me at julianne1234@me.com. Thank you!
