The NFT drain was first an idea to get more use out of the outflow water coming from a raft.  It works well but I am going to revert the raft above to flood-ajnd drain and put a dedicated "clean" water line into the system for NFT.  Then I'm making a 48 plant pipe NFT with water spray inside in order to see if that will work.

This kind of stuff gets me really excited. I still have a fairly basic system. I did harvest my first lettuce yesterday and today. It did feel good to eat some and give some away.
