George - I originally (2008) bought 6 plants from a nursery and everything I have now were propogated from runners that the plants make naturally.  I could have had 100's of plants if I kept all the runners.  Never tried to make cuttings but I recently bought 4 more plants to see if these perform any better than my original stock.  Last year I had very poor fruiting and a lot of vegetative growth that someone said was as a result of high nutrients.  Hopefully this year is lots of fruit!

Do you propagate by cuttings?

My daughter goes through a punnet a week at least.  I'm hoping to have enough plants by the end of the year to stop buying them in the shop for her!  My wife laid claim to the passion fruit crop.  Between these two expensive crop's monthly yield, I can pay for the running of the system though.

Man, that's pretty.  My wife loves strawberries so I'm looking forward to getting them going.
