Hey Joel,

Actually, once you have them set up nicely.. tack them in so that they cannot move and I have found them to be no problem whatsoever, and easy to adjust if you need to.  Just cover the tube so as not to let light in (to stop algae) and also don't use a too-small diameter pipe as it will have debris build up inside it over time and impede water flow.  Good thing with these though, is you can easily take them out - spray the hosepipe through them, and you are good to go again!

How well does your U-Siphon work? I have wanted to experience with a siphon like this, but I feel like it might require constant adjustment.
