Your double snorkel idea is very cool and keeps things running smoothly I gathered.

I wondered if anyone besides me is using a much simpler system with ready available replacement parts?

What am I talking about?

This bell shuts off even if the out flow is under water (which happened during a rain storm). My Affnan Bell Siphon will not stop with this condition.

I don't know why I wouldn't think of this but the name Cobra drain comes to mind!

We actually use a modified Affnan Bell Siphon and have not had it malfunction as far as I can remember . Guess you design gives new meaning to the term redundancy :-)
