I would love to know about what Sweet Water has in mind for the leasing programs! I would love to start something in my community! We don't have an easy access to fresh fish unless we go catch it ourselves.

Sweet Water has seven 10,000 gallon fish tanks and plant platforms above ready to offer thoughtful people training in their tending and short term or long term leasing: families, schools, spiritual communities, restaurants, scientist, artists, associations, businesses, etc. Ready to brainstorming this concept.

Nathan, your timing is great.  I will be selling tilapia on my website in the next 24 hours. Here is a link to the page - http://theaquaponicsource.com/tilapia.php.  Let me know if this is of interest to you and I can tell you more...

Hi.  I'm looking for live fish.  Catfish, tilapia, trout or possibly others.  Any in the Portland, Oregon area?   Or anyone that ships smaller quantities?  Thx!

I guess it's time to watch for sales then.

Looks like TSC raised the price on the 300-gallon by 20 bucks. The 100-gallon went up too, they are both now about 77 cents a gallon.

Well I'll be seeing you tomorrow Victoria so I can show you some ideas then.
However, Tractor supply is good for 100 and 300 gallon tanks though I would prefer slightly deeper tanks if I could find a really good price.

No worries, Victoria. If you have the handy husband, and the climate to do a big system year-round then go for it!

Hi Victoria. Depending on how much of a DIYer you are, you might want to consider our turnkey system - http://theaquaponicsource.com/aquabundance_aquaponics_system.php. Looks great, works great, and is extremely well constructed.

good Luck, So far for my systems 1-6 cfm has been my size range for air pumps since I've been doing flood and drain media the water pumps are bigger on my systems than the air pumps.

TC, I guess 35cfm. I have my eye on a S-21 aquatic-eco brand. Its a one-third hp. Im hoping someone may have a cheaper one ,or have one that didnt work for them. I know how we love to expand! I hope it stops raining so Ican get back out there.Paul
